KUOW Puget Sound Public Radio App Reviews

Crashes constantly. Gives them the opportunity to run yet another ad from a business sponsor. Why donate with all those unavoidable ads? Very easy to accidentally navigate away from the program youre listening to. Too bad--the content is good. I try to use KPLU if theres duplicate content.

Would have five stars if playback pause was more functional. Also, the layout of the news clips could use an ux overhaul.

This app always manages to serve up an introductory ad, then its crash-city after that. KUOWs content is great, but the app is so buggy that Ive given up on trying to listen.

Jumps, skips often. Every few minutes.

I love the app and M a donor. But very often when I tap the icon to launch the program the screen simply goes black and the only workaround requires that I delete the app and reinstall it – which is a pain. I do not have this problem with the apps for WBUR or BBC radio ... youre wonderful station, to which I am profoundly addicted. Doug Scott scottdoug959&gmail.com

This is the worst App I have ever used for an NPR station on the West Coast! As others have written, it continually back spaces when listening to Live Stream, even when sitting on a table 50 feet away from my wifi hotspot. The apps for NPR stations in San DIego (KPBS), Los Angeles (KCRW), and San Francisco (KQED) are stable and I no problems with them. I doubt I will renew my membership with KUOW until they can offer a stable app.

Best way to listen to NPR - like that I can save for later and send to friends. Much better than iMusic stream of broadcast. This hasnt buffered once! Love it!
