Bad

Terrible app. Absolutely horrible. Pauses, buffers and the station does not care. Stopped my contribution because of this app.

Terrible streaming

The streaming on this app is terrible. I stream from other devices with no issues. I stream from other apps with no issues. Get it together. Why not spend some of the money you are going to use buying another station to fix this app.

Good content, crap app

App crashes often, takes two tries to get started every time. Content is superb though so I do use this app all the time.

This App is terrible

Seriously- Cant listen for 10 minutes without an interruption for whatever. Stutters and repeats when it does start back up. Hate it. Takes over a minute to load every time I open it up- then it pauses again after the opening ad!! The upgrade in later 2014 destroyed a perfectly good app.

St-st-stutters

Great content, just annoyed by the stuttering. Also, I want to hit play and move to another app. Ill listen to the ad, but I dont like having to go back to the app after the sponsor to start the stream.

Please make a basic app

I love to listen to your broadcast all over the world. Please remember that not everybody and everywhere has a high speed internet connection. Many times it will not load all the extras or play at all if the connection is too slow. Keep up the good work but add a low bandwidth option with out all the extra Thanks John Sourbeer

Crashes crashes crashes

Ive used this app often but today it gave me a message that the steam had been updated but the app crashes constantly. Tried reinstalling but it just crashes even earlier.

Horrible update.

App has been crashing all morning, after saying it has been updated. Deleted and reloaded twice to get it to work again. :-(

Flakey

Constantly moves to a previous time in the story. Often wont start audio without a couple of resets.

Love KUOW

KUOW always has great content, but every morning when I listen, the app rewinds the story two or maybe three times back to the beginning of when I started listening. Not a huge problem, but rather a minor inconvenience.

A little cumbersome

The app is good enough. It seems to fall prey to the ever more demanding of EVERYTHING EVERYTHING EVERYTHING that it tries to pack an awful lot into what could be a much more streamlined thing. Sometimes simpler is better.

Please fix the sleep timer!

The sleep timer seems to have stopped working after the last update.

Clean and clear news

I love the NPR news. Its a unbiased news radio.

App crashes often

Update: January 2016 Better than it was but still annoying. Main issue now is it often takes a couple of tries to get it going. You get the pre-roll then nothing. Sometimes it will be on a previous story. Also the live stream page is cluttered up with other stories you can accidentally start The whole app just seems like theyre not really trying. 2015: Sadly the new app crashes on opening. Second attempt usually works, but crashes occasionally thereafter. The most annoying thing to me is the long buffer after the promo announcement before the stream begins. Also despite all the new stuff added there is no schedule I can find. So now I stream from the NPR app or TuneIn app.

Crappy app that mis-functions regularly.

.

Very buggy

I have to keep deleting it and reloading it, due to it freezing up or crashing. It lasts a few weeks without problems. Wish it could be better!

Stutters

This app stutters, resets and is clunky to navigate. Why do so many radio stations have good apps and the U of W has a primitive app.

So Frustrating

Crashes 4 or 5 times an hour and stutters a lot. Its been this way for the last three years. It needs to be addressed and fixed before Ill give money to these guys again.

Great app

I use it all the time and it works great. I like the 10 second back button for those times when i miss something and want to hear it again.

Needs work

Splash screen too busy, takes time to come up. Streaming cuts out even with very good wifi. Advertising screen is in the way and confusing. Simplify simplify simplify
